John here. Some of you will recognize me as the original Shampoo Boy from Zazou Hair Salon. I'm a lifer on the North Shore and wouldn't call anywhere else home. Working at Zazou again as the Salon/Spa Manager is an exciting experience for me and I'm psyched about bringing my years of Management expertise along with my creative sense to the Team and Guests of Zazou. Always quick with a smile and unsolicited remarks my job and pleasure is to make your Zazou Experience the most fun and fulfilling it can be.
Zodiac Sign: Gemini on the cusp of Taurus. Totally trustworthy, not because I can keep a secret but because you tell me I forget about 5 minutes later.
Favourite Colour: Blue. What can I say; not that original but it matches my eyes.
Favourite Food: FOOD!!!
Favourite Music: b-sides, they're always the ones the artist would rather release.

Let me introduce myself. I’m Allan Arthur Michael O’Shea, born and raised in Trail, British Columbia. If you are not sure where Trail is, it is situated between Rossland and Nelson, BC in the West Kootenays. I am the youngest of four children. My Dad is Irish and my Mother is Italian. I have duo citizenship, Irish and Canadian. I started in the hair industry back in 1998. I graduated from Delmar College of Hair Design in Calgary, Alberta in 2000. Formerly, I started out as a loan officer for a major Canadian Bank after graduation. After 6 years in banking, I was searching for a more creative, inspiring outlet, which the beauty industry provides. My specialty in this industry is the business division. During my journey, I have represented many prestige hair and beauty companies educating brands to stylists and salon owners in Canada, the USA and in London, England. Having returned to Canada after three years abroad, I had an opportunity to come aboard the Zazou Salon & Spa family! Having been in many salons in three different countries, I am fortunate to be surrounded with such talented people here at Zazou and in the lovely community of Lynn Valley.
I bring many talents to Zazou, and I am currently focusing on concierge. Don’t hesitate to contact us for any advice or recommendations of our many services and creative staff. You will most likely have me on the other end of the phone.
As for other interests, I love living in Vancouver and enjoy being outdoors on the seawall, at Jericho Park with my dog Charlie and mountain biking along Spanish Banks. My star sign is Virgo and my favourite drink is rye and coke. Finally, some advice my father always gave to me, ‘’take one day at a time’’; “you don’t own anything” and “ a drunk’in man’s words are a sober man’s thoughts”. Typical Irish!

My name is Janine. I was born and raised in good old North Vancouver! I have always been fascinated with anything to do with the fashion and beauty industry, especially hair and design! I am going to Business School for my degree in marketing and advertising and to learn more about how a place like Zazou Salon and Spa runs . My astrological sign is Libra. My favourite food is McDonald’s (two cheeseburgers! Yummm!) My favourite colour is pink since that’s the colour of everything I own. Memoirs of a Geisha (and I love the movie) is amazing. My favourite song is ‘Disturbia’ by Rihanna. My favourite bar is Ceili’s! My trip to Australia with my best friend was ‘once in a lifetime’ and worth every second. The celebrity I’ve been told I look like is Angelina Jolie, but I don’t believe it! Finally, my favourite memories are all the joys my family and friends had on our summer camping trips.

Hello, I'm Elora I work Concierge at Zazou. My interests have always been in healing and arts. This along with my environmental interests brought me to the great team at Zazou. I'm a mom, re-adventuring life through wonder-filled eyes. I love to cook, everyone digs into my lunch at work, so I must be doing something right. I'm a photographer and artistic director at Blü Studio Photography. My favourite colour has got to be deep red. My perfect day would be with my sweetheart and our son adventuring, from the Island of Sodor to the North Shore Mountains.

I feel like its my second home, and already I have done some extensive traveling throughout Europe several times. I love it! Paris is my favourite place, tied with Santorini, Greece.
Something I would love to try some day would be bungee jumping!! I'm very into fashion beauty and wellness which is why I think Zazou is such a great fit for me! Some things I cannot live without are: my friends, my baby sister, my dog Holly, Caesars, clothing, good food, coffee, sunshine, shopping, and mascara.

Hi! I'm Nikki, concierge and apprentice at Zazou Salon & Spa. I'm a proud mom to a beautiful little girl, Dakota. I completed my hairdressing license in 2005. My main interest is in hair colouring and product knowledge. Classic rock and metal are my favourite types of music and I also play the drums. I am a Capricorn and I like the outdoors. My favourite place to be is on Pender Island. I have a passion for tattoos, make-up, and body decorating. I hope to continue to pursue a career in hairdressing when my ankle biter gets a little older.
