Hi, my name is Jacqui and I am currently a Junior Stylist at Zazou Salon and Spa (and loving it). I am graduating from the Apprenticeship Program at Zazou after two years! When I was 13 I decided to start cutting and colouring my own hair. I may not have been very talented at the time, but it was a lot of fun and I knew I had a passion to pursue. I’ve moved around a lot in my life, living in Australia and Vancouver. My most recent move was from Langley to the North Shore and so far the experience has been a great one. I love music, friends, Disney movies and tattoos and I’m sure if I had more money I would be a chronic shopper. Mostly, I’m just down to have a good time, meet new friends and laugh.
I’m Heather, I just recently graduated from John Casablancas and I’m thrilled to be a part of the Zazou Team. I believe that everyone has something beautiful inside them and as a stylist it is my passion to bring that to the surface. I am a true optimist and I love making people smile. I love being busy and trying new things, even skydiving! I’m a diehard Canucks fan and I try not to miss any games. Eating out and shopping are my favourite past times. I know anything and everything about making coffee because I’ve managed a café for the past 6 years; prior to John Casablancas I was a marketing student at BCIT for 4 years. I’m really excited to start this new chapter in my life and I can’t wait to get to know everyone.
I'm Lauren, and I have always had a passion for hair. I am a graduate from Suki's Hair Academy and am very excited to enter such a crazy and ever changing industry. I am very creative and love designing new colors and styles. In my free time, I like traveling, swimming, golfing, dancing and playing the guitar. I love to laugh and have fun and believe a sense of humor is at the heart of any good relationship. I look forward to sharing a laugh or two with you very soon:) 
My name is Marlena Coco I am currently a stylist at Zazou Salon & Spa. I am fairly new to Vancouver. I moved up from Orange County California where I attended Paul Mitchell The Academy. I am currently a licensed cosmetologist in California. Although born in Hollywood I was raised in Santa Cruz California. I have been immersed in music and art my entire life; both continue to be great passions of mine. I am one of the most curious people you will ever meet I want to know anything about everything and everything about anything. I love learning and consider myself an uber DORK! Things that tickle my fancy: Pop Surrealism, Fitness, Winter, Cooking, Spontaneity, Nutrition, Laughing till it hurts! My zodiac sign is a Leo, so I am spontaneoulsy creative, enthusiastic, an extrovert, sincere, genuine and loving. Right on the nail! My favourite food is anything foreign . I love the colour green and my favourite drink is caramel macchiato. My hobbies include painting, puzzles, and learning that I'm a total nerd!
My name is Shaun, and I am a stylist at Zazou. I was born in Victoria, BC but grew up most of my life in London, England which makes me a huge football fan. I play and watch as much as possible. I am an Aquarius which means "You possess a quick intellect and an expansive mind keen on innovation and progressive thought . You're a rebel, but one who really needs people around. Your have tons of friends, but you tend not to get too intimate with any one person." That's pretty spot on. I also love to snowboard and do anything that gives me an adrenaline rush. I enjoy most styles of music (except country) but mostly indie rock. Actually pretty much any rock. Most people don't know that I'm a certified scuba diver but I am no big deal. My favourite recent memory is bungee jumping up Whistler which makes my next ambition to be skydiving! I love to eat curry and talk in cockney rhyming slang although no one understands me if I ever do. I also enjoy going for a pint whenever I can.
Hey my name is Natasha and I am a stylist at Zazou Salon and Spa. I graduated from Blanche Macdonald’s Hairdressing program in December of 08 and am stoked to now be at Zazou. I was born and raised in North Van and went to Saint Thomas Aquinas High School. On my spare time I try to get outside as much as i can. i love music, reading, cooking( not to shabby), snowboarding, boxing, watching movies and hanging out with friends. I was born November 3rd making me a strong,passionate, loving Scorpio woman. My favourite colors are green and blue and I would one day love to eat my way through Europe.
My name is Kelsey and I have completed my apprenticeship at Zazou and I am now a full time hairstylist. I have completed my apprenticeship at Zazou. Having two other aunts who are hairstylists to inspire me, I knew this was my path from a very young age, and to be living my dream has been an incredible journey. I'm a born and raised north van girl and wouldn't dare have it any other way. I am head over heels in love with bright colors, thus making my favourite color rainbow!! I am also a big reader when a book catches my attention, some of my faves are Heavier than Heaven (the Kurt Cobain bio), Flowers in the Attic, and The Perks of Being a Wallflower. I've also been playing the drums for about 9 years and love jammin and playing shows with my buds, alongside just going to watch a good show with good friends. Those are some of my best memories.
My name is Cara and I am currently a stylist at Zazou Salon and Spa. I love snowboarding, but most of all just hanging out with my close friends makes me happy. I enjoy watching our garbage reality T.V. shows and eating great food. Something that people may not know about me is that I was a diver for six years competing at the national level. To finish this off, my favourite memory would have to be from the age of 4. My dad and myself would wait until my mom left the house and we would crank up the Eurythmics. We would play that song “sweet dreams” on repeat for hours, dancing around the kitchen like complete fools using spatulas as our microphones. Once we saw her car pull up, my dad would pretend to be doing something useful around the house. I do miss being a little kid just for that reason.
My name is Lindsey, and I am a stylist at Zazou. I am originally from Windsor, Ontario and moving to Vancouver was the best move I could have made as I now work with the greatest team (well actually, more like family) at Zazou Salon and Spa. I'm also really into music. I like just about anything that I can dance to. I love to shop...some might even consider me a shopaholic. Something that I would like to do more of is travel. There are so many beautiful things to see in this world, and I want to experience them all first hand. Random road trips are great too. I love to laugh, and smile, but more importantly, I love to make other people laugh, smile, and be happy. That's one big reason I chose to be in the hair industry; to make people feel good about themselves, and confident in how they look.
My name is Sonya and I am originally from New Brunswick. So far BC has been everything that I expected. I've made so many great friends and memories in this beautiful city. I'm a big film and music geek. I'm pretty easy going. I surround myself with good people and love to laugh until my stomach hurts.
Hey homeslices! My name is Annette but most people call me Netty. I was born and raised in Lynn Valley and don't plan on ever leaving. I am currently a hairstylist and make-up Artist at Zazou Salon and Spa. My Sign happens to be a lovely Scorpio. Being a water sign, Scorpio is considered highly passionate, imaginative, determined, persevering and self-confident. That's pretty much me in a nutshell. My hobbies mostly consist of one thing, video games. I collect game systems and consider myself to be a huge gamer. If I wasn't such a fabulous hairstylist I probably would have become a game designer. I really do love what I do though. I also love tattoos. If you want to make my day, buy me a Kinder Surprise. :P
I would like to thank my mother's hairstylist in the 90's for my career in the art of hair. If it wasn't for that one awful haircut she gave me at the tender age of 13, I wouldn't have started cutting my own hair and discovering my passion. I'm an Ontario native, spent the last 5 years in Calgary, and now I've settled my heels in Vancity to explore my passion for hair, music, and eco-kindness and push myself to my limits! Hairstylist by day, musician and wine-o by night. I have a strong love for trying new things and trusting my instincts. If you're looking for a total make-over, I'm your girl!
I love Love LOVE colour. If "doing" hair is my joy, then colouring it is my passion. I could give you precision, shape, texture (and the list goes on), but to give you the perfect colour is what excites me. I'm South African born and came to Canada when I was 13. It was never really too difficult to figure out that my life work would be something creative. I've had the chance to travel the world, experience the highs and lows of being FABULOUS and learnt a lot. Somehow though, I keep coming back to hair. I'm a taurus.. a TRUE Taurus. Look it up and you will know how true that really is. I love life and I live to love. I enjoy my spin-headin... head-spinning, sweet tropical drinks. I'd rather splash in the ocean than lie on the beach... playing around with music, whether listening or mixing is my favourite hobby. I DON'T enjoy crowds but for some reason I LOVE Hong Kong and how busy it is. I guess you could say that I'm someone who is always full of surprises and I can only hope that I will pleasantly surprise you :) xoxox

I’m Jen. I have a lot of passion for music. The band I love the most right now is Rise Against. Something people don't know about me is I have lived in many places. I was born in Hamilton, Ontario. Moved to New Westminster when I was 14, then moved to Penticton, Summerland, Kelowna and then Calgary. Now I reside in North Burnaby.
